Kahf grows through the generosity of those who choose to share their words, ideas, and imagination.

We welcome original essays, scholarly research, literary criticism, translations, poetry, fiction, interviews, book reviews, visual art, photography, and reflective writing that engage with the literary, cultural, and intellectual traditions of the East.

You may submit your work as a Word document via email (editor@kahfthecollective.com) or through the contribution form on our website.

Please include:

  • A brief author biography (50–100 words)
  • The title of your submission
  • Any relevant links or references, where appropriate

Poetry: Please submit no more than three poems in a single submission.

Visual Art & Photography: Please submit high-resolution image files or PDF portfolios, where applicable.

Contributors retain full copyright to their work. By submitting to Kahf, you grant us non-exclusive first publication rights and permission to publish your work across our platforms, unless otherwise agreed. We kindly ask that submissions be carefully proofread before sending. Every submission is read with care. Where appropriate, we may suggest minor editorial revisions in consultation with the author before publication.
